Dr. Shames is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the US and Israel, and also holds a Master's Degree in Public Health. He has been a key leader in establishing and promoting community rehabilitation, and is presently the National Director of Rehabilitation Medicine in Maccabi Health Services and staff physician in the rehabilitation clinic in Rishon LeZion.
